We are seeking an experienced Jasper Report Developer with a strong background in Java to join our IT department. This role involves designing, developing and maintaining reports using Jasper Reports, as well as integrating these reports with Java-based applications.

• Design, develop and maintain reports using Jasper Reports.
• Integrate Jasper Reports with Java-based applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure report accuracy.
• Optimize and tune reports for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report generation and data accuracy.
• Create and maintain documentation for developed reports and processes.
• Provide support and training to end-users on report generation and utilization.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Jasper Reports and Java technologies.

• Strong proficiency in Java programming.
• Experience with SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Familiarity with various data source integrations (e.g., XML, JSON, JDBC).
• Knowledge of report optimization and performance tuning techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Familiarity with other reporting tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
