Recruitment Officer

Job Context

This position will be responsible for managing the recruitment cycle, ensuring the timely and efficient onboarding of qualified candidates to meet the company's staffing needs. This role is crucial for attracting top talent, building a strong employer brand, and ensuring that staffing requirements align with the company's growth objectives. The recruitment officer will also collaborate with department heads to understand their specific hiring needs and adapt recruitment strategies accordingly.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and extending offers, ensuring timely placement of qualified candidates.
  • Develop and implement multi-channel sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, and networking events, and conduct initial candidate assessments to shortlist top talent.
  • Partnering with department heads, tailor recruitment approaches and advise on interview best practices to align with specific staffing needs.
  • Maintains detailed recruitment records and monitors key metrics like time-to-hire and cost-per-hire, optimizing recruitment effectiveness.
  • Act as a brand ambassador to enhance the employer's reputation and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Prepare reports for management and recommend improvements to streamline recruitment processes and enhance compliance.
  • Carry out any additional tasks as assigned by the line authority or honorable management authority.

Additional Requirements

  • Age at least 26 years
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a similar role is required reputed organization.
  • Proven experience as a recruitment officer or in a similar role is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment methods, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and databases.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Education
