We are seeking skilled and experienced Advocate specialized in land vetting and documentation to join our team. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in ensuring the legal accuracy and compliance of land-related documents and transactions. This position requires strong expertise in legal procedures, attention to detail and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities
Land Vetting:
- Conduct thorough legal vetting of land ownership documents, deeds, and titles to verify authenticity and accuracy.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies, risks, or irregularities in land-related legal documentation.
Documentation Management:
- Draft, review, and finalize agreements, contracts, sale deeds, and other legal documents related to land acquisition and development.
- Ensure all documents comply with current laws, regulations, and company policies.
Legal Advisory:
- Provide legal opinions and advice to the management team on land acquisition, leases, and related matters.
- Interpret and explain legal clauses to stakeholders for better understanding and decision-making.
Liaison and Representation:
- Coordinate with government offices, landowners, and other stakeholders for necessary approvals, registrations, and clearances.
- Represent the organization in courts or legal forums as required.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
- Maintain an organized repository of all land-related legal documents and ensure timely updates.
- Prepare and submit reports on legal compliance and progress in land transactions.
